Optical Circles Quilt
Saturday 19th September
Basically this quilt is based on the Drunked’s Path technique, using two sizes of 1/4 circle. The class will be covering the technique and processes involved to stitch curves easily and successfully. Our sample is the lap size measuring 52” square.
The pattern gives the requirements for an 82” square quilt, the sample being the smaller option.
Bookings Essential as Preparation is Required for the class.

Kaleidoscope
Saturday 26th September
This is a wonderful technique for creating the most interesting design and colour combinations. Using either border fabrics or eight pattern repeats of high contrast prints.
Suitable for the Beginner or Intermediate Quilter.

Discover the magic of making different blocks come together into a coherent quilt, a fantastic way to learn use of colour, and precise piecing.

Layered Landscapes

This is a wonderful way of interpreting a favourite scenic photo. Join me to create a scene using fabric layering and appliqué for a few detailed features. Learn, perspective, proportion and aspects of colour interpretation.
This workshop is based on Karen Ekmeyer’s techniques.
kits available for SeaScape or Landscape, we can provide guided fabric choice for specific photos - prepare early!

Join Teresa to make Sashiko with your sewing machine, using 12wt thread and 110 Topstitch Needles
This piece can then become a feature in a bag, or as part of a table runner or larger quilt with pieced blocks.
